The YG-1 TB804 series Metric Coarse HSS 5% Cobalt Universal Machine Taps are ideal for general purpose machine tapping of a wide range of materials including: Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Titanium, Nickel, Aluminium & Non-Ferrous. The VAP surface treatment reduces friction & is excellent on stickier materials such as 316 stainless or soft steels. These come with a Spiral Flute geometry for blind holes and a patented design to prevent over feeding and premature tap failure.
