The YG-1 TC973 series Metric Coarse HSS 5% cobalt machine taps are suitable for repairing damaged threads when combining them with any popular brand of thread repair insert. These are suitable for use on Steel, Copper, Aluminium, Titanium and Nickel. They have a bright finish to prevent swarf sticking to the flutes and have a spiral point geometry for through holes.
